Seminar Objectives:

This seminar is designed to deliver the knowledge requirements for rigging and signaling personnel to participants, and will meet and exceed OSHA’s New Crane Standard requirements for riggers and signalers. Upon successful seminar completion, the participant will be able to calculate load weight and determine load center of gravity, calculate stress angles and determine the safe working load, select proper hitch, sling, and rigging hardware to use within their safe working loads, proper Inspection procedures, control the lift site and the cranes area of operation, and understand the “Riggers” responsibility per 1926.1401 and meet the “Signal Person” requirements per 1926.1428.

Total Hours: 6 Hours

Level III Qualified Rigger with Qualified Crane Signalers Seminar

Total of 3-days: 20 Hours

There is an exam at the end of this seminar for the Rigger portion, and an exam and practical evaluations for the Signaler portion, which requires a minimum score of 70% or better to pass. Upon successful seminar completion, participants will receive completions cards, certifying that they have met the requirements for both Riggers and Signalers as per 1926.1401 and 1926.1428.
Fall Protection Safety Competent Person
Seminar Description:

This Fall Protection Competent Person Seminar is intended for individuals who are responsible for the supervision, implementation and monitoring of a managed fall protection program. It provides a fundamental understanding of the OSHA and ANSI requirements for The Fall Protection Competent Person, as well as providing the participant with solid practical knowledge on how to identify and control common fall hazards.
