Seminar Description:
This seminar focuses on the recognition and evaluation of health hazards in the construction industry, as well as the different types of Personal Protective Equipment, including their proper uses. Participants will be instructed in the recognition of potential hazards, proper evaluation methods, and applicable standards, of Subpart D, as well as personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, protective clothing, respiratory devices and protective shields as required in Subpart E.
Seminar Objective:
This seminar is designed to provide participants an understanding of their “Right-to-Know” related to hazardous chemicals in the workplace as defined in OSHA’s Health Hazard Standard – Subpart D, the different types of personal protective equipment, how to determine the proper type of PPE.

Seminar Description:
This is a 2-Day Seminar. After successfully completing this seminar, participants will gain knowledge of the requirements for the establishment, maintenance, and monitoring of a respiratory protection program; and should be able of identify and describe the major elements of a respiratory protection program following 29 CFR 1910.134; discuss technical aspects for the proper selection and use of respirators; evaluate compliance with OSHA’s respiratory protection standard; select the proper respirator to be used in the workplace; discuss qualitative and quantitative fit testing; Use a large array of respirators and support equipment.
Participants will Learn:
How to identify and describe the major elements of a respiratory protection program following 29 CFR 1910.134;
How to discuss technical aspects for the proper selection and use of respirators;

How to conduct exercises on respirator selection;
